The NAPA expert brings long hands-on NAPA practice (NAPA Designer, NAPA Steel, loading and emergency computers, NAPA Manager). It advises on setting up and running NAPA work, reviews the models and reports you supply, cross-checks NAPA numbers independently, drafts macros, interprets reports and sets out the class approval route. NAPA itself is never run inside AI-PNA.
Expert Profile
A deterministic engine recomputes what can be recomputed in closed form from the numbers you supply (hydrostatics, loading conditions, GZ and IS Code intact criteria, subdivision and damage indices, inclining test, longitudinal strength, hull girder, tank tables, loading computer tests and grain) and compares each with the NAPA value within a stated tolerance. Agreement confirms arithmetic consistency, not that the NAPA model is right; it gives no compliance or approval statement.
