What this expert provides

The Geotechnical Engineering expert turns the soil data into foundation capacity: the soil profile from layers or a CPT, pile axial capacity and the penetration needed, shallow foundation bearing and sliding, jack-up spudcan penetration with punch-through risk, and scour depth.

Expert Profile

Works from API RP 2GEO, ISO 19901-4, DNV-RP-C212 and ISO 19905-1 (SNAME) practice. Reads CPT records to undrained shear strength and relative density, computes pile capacity in compression and tension with alpha and beta methods, and draws the soil profile with the capacity against depth. Lateral, cyclic and driveability analyses are scoped and routed.

Key Capabilities

  • Soil profile from layers or CPT (su, relative density)
  • Pile axial capacity and required penetration (API RP 2GEO)
  • Shallow foundation bearing and sliding
  • Spudcan penetration and punch-through screening
  • Scour depth and capacity-depth drawing
